THE PRADEL PLATEAU

Oasis of tranquility:

A vast area of meadow and woodland situated North-West of Molveno between 1,350 and 1,540 metres above sea level. Once upon a day the locals cultivated the forest and raised animals, today the Pradel Plateau is a territory with remarkable environmental value, integral in terms of urbanisation. It is a much coveted destination and the numerous opportunities for excursions are duely recognised. It represents one of the most popular "doors" to the Dolomiti di Brenta mountain group: a large part of its surface area is bordering on the Adamello Brenta National Park.

It is easy to reach from Molveno: only a few minutes by lift or for those who enjoy walking, just over an hour on foot.

As well as the features on offer at the Forest Park and the Didactic farm, the plateau is the ideal place for a trip outside of town, in perfect symmetry with nature, surrounded by the majestic dolomite peaks. It is also possible to find accommodation and eat traditional regional dishes in and around Pradel.
