For those wishing to reach the Pradel Plateau by means of transport there are two lifts: the first, referred to as the "Molveno Pradel", has a "basket" cable-car with a maximum capacity of two persons per car.Departure is from the station situated in the higher part of Molveno by the first crossroads that you come across when travelling on the road from Andalo. It reaches the hamlet of Pradel at a height of 1,350 metres above sea level. The second lift which is a type of two seater chair lift opened up recently in 2006 and was named the "Pradel Croz dell'Altissimo". From Pradel it goes up to the hamlet of Tovre situated 1,540 metres above sea level.
The ascent by lift means there is direct access to the plateau. Certainly it is a more ecological means of transport and constitutes a comfortable way of embarking on fascinating excursions in the heart of the Eastern Dolomites.
Throughout the ascent is a breathtaking display with the view from high up above Lake Molveno as well as the amazing scenes from the peaks of the Brenta mountain group.
For fans of free flying there is a track for paragliding jumps just a short distance from the arrival point at Tovre. Here exciting flights await you in the Molveno skies and over the water of the lake, either alone or with the aid of expert instructors from the "Club Vola Bas".
Transportation of the mountain bike is permitted by lift meaning those with a real passion for this sport are able to enjoy keen expeditions at high altitude.
